Hello folks,
I understand that the uptick in cases is worrying and scary for folks. We are in the phase of the pandemic where we need to figure out how we are going to move forward responsibly in a society that is tired and numb. The goal is to both see how we can be functional and keep the risk low for our community.
Please remember the precautions we have in place.
-Everyone will be vaccinated.
-Test before coming to game and after coming to game.
-Mask up when indoors. N95's are best followed by KN95 then surgical style. Make sure your mask fits well. Spend as much time outdoors as you can.
If you are worried about sleeping in a cabin with others, do not hesitate to see what local hotel options look like, if that is within your capacity. You can also change your registration to only Saturday- please just let us know. Some people also prefer to sleep in their car or tent. All of these are ideas that you can explore if that aspect is of concern to you.
We respect everyone's decision about what is best for where they are at in the moment in time. If that means you need to cancel your registration for this game, we will forward that registration to the next game that happens, no questions asked. You can also donate it as well, folks who donate their event will be given the opportunity to register for the next event before passes go live as thanks, just as we did during the heat of the pandemic.
We’ve been keeping an eye on how things have been going for the larps and other large events that have happened so far. We will be transparent about what happens at our event (hence the request for testing afterwards). We will be keeping an eye on how this event goes for us and the larps that occur in the weeks following and then we will make our decision for spring 2.
If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or Nick.
